Hello I'm here finally
October 12, 2006
Cycle: who can count that high!
CD# 15
Well, it's been a trip, but I am here. We were having some technical difficulties getting my diary going. But thanks to Shel and whoever else for helping getting me going.
Anyways, as some of you know. We are trying to have a baby. It's so exciting to hear yourself say that. Even if it is to yourself. My hubby Jake and I have been married for just over 2 years. 2 stressful, but wonderful years. We are finally really getting on with our "grown up" lives, as I like to call them. We got married, we both have stable jobs, we are trying for a baby and the most exciting news in a while. We are buying a house. YEAH!!
It's our first house, so we are very, very excited. We are going to be moving in within a month. It's nice and big so we can have lots of room for kids when we have them. And lots of room for the kids we have now. Don't worry, no surprises. These are the furry kind. We have 2 cats. Chester, a lazy orange cat that loves to be petted and Mia, our spaz cat. She is scared of almost anything. We have had them for 4 years in 2 weeks. Our other pet is Duke. He was a wedding present to ourselves. He is just over 2 and still as hyper as the day we got him. He is a Bulldog & Dalmation Mix. I know, WHAT?? But he is such a cutie and a lover. I don't think that he realizes that he weighs 55lbs. Silly Dog. I will try and post some pics in a later entry.
On to the TTCing.
We have been trying since January and nothing. Seems silly that we spend all this time and effort into not getting pregnant and when you want to it's like no try again later. We hadn't been temping until my doctor suggested it in September. Since, I haven't been getting AF regularly, she also prescribed Provera to jump start her. So I took it for 10 days and then waited. I got AF the last Thursday in September and now we are temping and using OPKs to see if and when I am ovulating. So, it's wait, wait and wait some more. My temp went up a little bit today, but just a couple tenths of a degree and we BDed yesterday morning, so hopefully I did ovulate and we timed it right, otherwise, there is always next month. But I would really love to announce us being pregnant at christmas, so the sooner the better. I think this entry has gone long enough.
Come talk to me on my board.
Has anyone else ever had luck with Provera and irregular cycles?
Till next week...
Babydust to all....
