Oh My, I think I O'd 5-1-2007

May 1, 2007

Cd30 ttc#1 Since December 2005

3rd cycle Clomid 100mg

I ....think.... no, I'm pretty sure....I ....o'd. Oh my. It has been a little while since my last entry, so let me back track. I got this horrible flu on the 16th of April (cd15). I wasn't quite myself all week and was supposed to o anywhere from cd 17th through the 21st. Well, cd 17 came and then the 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and still no peak on my fertility monitor or positive OPK. Well, my fm booklet says that medication like clomid can affect the monitor because of the high amounts of estrogen in your body in the early part of the cycle. That's why I was using OPKs this cycle. I had talked to my doctor last cycle when my FM didn't show peak either and she wanted me to come in for blood test around cd21 this cycle. Well, I decided not to do it. Jake and I are going the calm and relaxed approach this cycle to see what happens, otherwise it's a break for us and see if I o on my own.

Back on track though, I have these lovely long cycles that enable me to POAS for the FM from like cd10- cd30. I was going to stop (you know laid back and relaxed approach, yeah right!) Just for giggles, I kept peeing on my sticks. I woke up Saturday morning, April 28th (cd27), peed on the stick put it in and got ready to go to work at my 2nd job. I took the stick out when it was done and I saw a little eggie! That's the symbol for peak for those of you that don't know. I was like OMG, OMG. It's peak and too late to take an OPK because I already peed and flushed it away. But it's peak! Unfortunately I would have crawled right back in bed with Jake, but I had to go to work. Darn!

But I made up for it Sunday morning. Mainly because I had a migraine in the works Saturday night and went to bed early. But, Sunday morning still is peak, which I am told by a certain ttc lady, that it always is peak 2 days. BUT! My OPK was positive Sunday AM. Yahooo. It was a good bd session, but I have to admit, I got caught up in the moment and forgot to visualize the spermie and eggie meeting. Oops. TMI- but it was great and we had a great cuddle session afterwards. Now the only real downfall of knowing that I o'd on like cd27-28, means that I still have the 2ww. I thought I was half way though it, but no such luck. But it is reassuring to know that I did o.

The rest of Sunday was nice. Jake got a surround sound, because he has a wonderful wife who doesn't tell him no to much, (thus the 5 motorcycles in my garage and the half torn apart car in the driveway.) We tilled and planted our veggie garden and fertilized the grass. Oh, I transplanted some Peony plants. I love them and dh was going to kill them to have more room for the garden. I just couldn't allow that.

I will try and post some pics when stuff is growing more. I have to figure out my new printer that I got for my new business. That's right ladies, not like I don't have enough on my plate, but I became a Mary Kay consultant last weekend. I am very excited about it and think that it is a awesome oppurtunity for me. Jake thinks so too. If anyone is interested in getting anything, my website is www.marykay.com/shannonspencer It's really cool because there are a lot of tips and stuff on there. Plus, if you want to purchase something, you do it on there and I just send  you the stuff. Cool huh? Enough about that though.

Besides that, everything is going well. We have been spending a lot of time on outside stuff, so we haven't gotten much done with inside stuff, which hopefully will change this weekend, because I would really like my moulding up. My SIL is having a tupperware party this weekend, this SIL, I just found out on Sunday became a MK lady too last week. Small and strange world. So, I am hoping to have another party booked soon. I think it is going to become a little bit of a competion between us to see who will do better. Unfortunately for her my sisters already said that they will buy anything the need for me and I am going to go to Platteville, where my little sis goes to school, to do a party for her in the fall. It should be lots of fun. Her roomates and friends are riots.

Well, I think that I have written my novel for the week. Hope everyone is doing well and that we get another string of 3 going hopefully soon.
