No Such Luck

Yuck! I don't like writing that at all. I am super bummed because yup you guessed it, no baby this month. I think this is really the first month that all I want to do it cry about it. I think I ovulated. (Don't think that you can get peak fertility on the monitor and not ovulate) and we did the bd, my boobs were sore (which rarely if ever happens), I had cramp like pains for a couple days, and I haven't been feeling good. Must have just been a cold or something. I think most of all because this was the last month for me before we were going to medically intervine. It's just a bummer that I couldn't do it on my own, but then again. There aren't many of us writing here that can. I will soon become a clomid chick, which is kind of scaring as I have heard it can have some nasty side affects, but I will do what I need to, to get pregnant.
My doc is out of the office today, so I will call her tomorrow and go for blood work in the next few days. DH, Jake, and I talked about it and we decided that we will do my stuff, since we are pretty sure it is me and then if it isn't then do his SA. Even though I know it could be both of us.
He seems really on and off the bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, but one day it's
it will happen whenever it happens and the next day he is asking me when I am
going to get pregnant. Not like I can do it myself. Part of it I think is the
fact that we had our niece's first birthday this weekend. We took our other niece
(my bro's daughter) with us and she had a blast and so did everyone else. I am
trying to attach a picture with me, my nephew Keegan (dh's bro's son) and my niece
Payton (my bro's daughter) from the party. So, I am hoping it will work. But I
don't think it is.![]()
Other than a good weekend with the family, Jake and I are just kind of vegging lately. We got 4 inches of snow last week Wednesday, I think. And another inch or two on Sunday. I am such a winter lover. I could sit on the couch with a blanket and watch the snowflakes fall for hours. I really don't like to shovel much, but it's soo pretty coming down. I hope everyone else in the US is enjoying the cooler Winter weather and it sounds thankfully that no one has lost any power. I have a very good friend in Missouri that I just hear from that didn't have power for 6 days at 7 degree temps. Yikes! Thankfully she is ok along with her family, so she is still in my prayers as we get ready for another cold snap. Eat the oranges while they're still cheap.
Amanda, I hope everything goes well and you get preggo soon. I certainly feel for you and know a little of what you are going through.
Anne, Good to hear from you. I am happy for your morning sickness. Keep us informed!
Helen, I am happy for you too. It's soo great that you and Anne got preggo. It gives us all some hope.
Tiffany, You are in my prayers with you FIL. It is hard and to keep that seceret is difficult too. Good luck though. I hope your dh finds something permanent too.
Have a great week.
