10.9.06 BFP??
October 9, 2006
Before you even get excited, I haven't gotten one. I don't even think I'm going to get one... but alas, I quickly have to tell you all the signs seals and symptoms :)
First, if you've seen any of the "tickers" that are attached to my messages in my signature, I'm at day 39. Yes, 39. And, although I haven't been tracking or even consistently temping, I did this morning and it's still in the high 97's (97.7 to be exact).
Of course, of course, to be realistic we all know that a cycle can go far into the 40day period and not be abnormal for one of us with PCOS. So... the fact that it's about five days late shouldn't signify too much.
And, the fact that this month was so horribly stressful is another reason that I think I'm late. Although... how long will stress delay your cycle?
My symptoms and signs are this:
I'm peeing all the time. But... it's not tons of urine at one time, it's the dying urge to go and what you would expect without that urge (a normal amount of urine but I feel like I'm going to wet my pants if I don't GO NOW).
I'm sleeping... passing out asleep at 8 or 9pm and not waking up til 7 or 8 am. And... while sleeping I'm dead asleep. Like, one night Eddie came in late and the dogs were barking and the lights were on and I slept right through it. Mind you, I'm the type of sleeper that wakes up without warning three, maybe four times a night (and yes, that's normal). I usually get up, get something to drink, go to the bathroom, watch some tv, and bam go back to bed about fifteen minutes later. I haven't done that in over a week.
I've gotten more heartburn than I normally would while on the low-carb diet. However, it isn't an alarming amount.
Our FIRST anniversary is saturday, so I'm going to test either sat morning or friday night if I haven't gotten my cycle. Honestly, I'm moreso hoping for a cycle asap so that it'll be over by Saturday because I really trully do not think that we're pregnant (we only bd'd one time around the time that I think I may have ovulated... which in itself is nearly impossible because I stopped temping right after that!). So anyhow... I'm praying that whatever will be will be... and realizing that day by day it's weirder and weirder to be this late (especially on clomid--those cycles have steady been 34 days).
I'll definatley post after the anniversary and let everyone know for sure... it'd be a great lifter for spirits around here to have one of us make it across the border... but hey if not, let's all have some taco bell, ok?
Love to you all, and babydust all around,
Amanda :)
