10.5.06 Many random thoughts, and some actual information
October 5, 2006
I've decided I'm going to attempt to date my entires on the tagline so that anyone who wants to read can see they're somewhat recent rather than having to search into the diary to find out whether I wrote it a year ago or yesterday. I get so confused reading diaries here and there that I never know who recently updated and end up spending all day at work trying to figure it all out. ...which, I don't mind, but my boss is beginning to see my lack of progress :)
Anyhow... some random thoughts/information
Eddie is going on three weeks "sober". He wasn't a big drinker anyhow, just when he did drink he'd be beyond conscious.
With that, I'm "two weeks" sober too... from chocolate (and alcohol, but I don't drink much anyhow). I quit eating chocolate two weeks ago yesterday to support Eddie's quest to quit drinking forever. And yeah, I'm having strong urges to eat it again.
I started on the Atkin's diet Oct. 1. I know, I know, it's not something to parade around and shout about as an accomplishment (since it's only Oct. 5) but alas, with PCOS that's supposed to be a pretty good diet to get the pounds off in addition to lowering the glucose levels and helping with ovulation. So... we'll see.
We're not going to continue on Clomid next month. I figure we'll give it til next year before we start up again. And, with that, I figure if I eat a low carb diet with the lowest dose of clomid, we'll have a better chance of conceiving. Who knows.
I'm on day 35, have no idea when I o'd (because I stopped temping) for sure, and have no idea if/when my period should arrive. However, I do know that I'm not pregnant... because we have barely been active this month. I assume the delay in my cycle is due to the stress that we've experienced lately.
That being said, this week all week, I've passed out watching tv as if my day was so overwhelming that I couldn't handle it anymore... which is about the only sign I've had, that I'm trying to completely ignore.
I considered just not coming back to the iP diary til we conceived. I feel like I'm spouting off useless information and boring everyone to death. However... I apparently have no consern for any of your minds being bored because I'm obviously still here. ...sorry about that ![]()

We're bd'ing and whatever whenever we want without consideration of temping and o'ing or anything else for the rest of the year. ...think I'll be able to force my controlling self to not temp and check for o?
My heart and prayers go out to Anne, Anjoeshka, and Tiffany today as we've heard of two bfn's and biological health issues for Tiffany's husband. ...I hope all will be okay.
And, I think that we all need to beg God for one bfp, whoever it is, by Christmas. I think we'll get a little bit of spunk back into our trunks ladies!
That being said... let's go and kick some butt.
Or have relations
or whatever... eat some chocolate for me!
