a new approach 9.25
September 25, 2007
This is going to be quick, as I'm at lunch from work and have about five minutes til I have to book back and be on time.
Last night Eddie and I searched the internet and eventually found a place close to our home that is an accredited foster/adoption agency. By that, I mean you can become a foster parent and that child may end up being a child who is up for adoption. We wrote a letter and may just end up going there to begin the process sometime soon. (this week or next). We don't know what to expect, but we're aware that we're both spent when it comes to the ttc process.. and we really just want to be parents. We're not going to quit trying, but we're going to take it easy and let God handle it all...
So, we'll see. I of course, am hoping to find a little boy who is of biracial descent... Eddie too wants a boy, someone to share his love of sports with.
Anyhow, I'll keep you updated as to how things go. Eddie got another job which begins this coming Monday. He will be working midnights, so that if we have a child we will always have someone home with him/her.
Til next time!
~Amanda~
