2ww?

September 22, 2006

Well...

Eddie and I sat down and really had a deep hearted talk about the situation and our futures.  We've come to these three comprimises...

1-he's not going to drink, and I'm not going to eat chocolate.
2-we're both going to a "support group" called "Celebrate Recovery", through our church.  We started last week Tuesday.
3-We're going to attend church EVERY sunday, unless there is something pre-planned or an emergency.

In addition to this, I believe, I o'd and we bd'd earlier this week.  We both needed the closeness and intimacy that bd'ing brings... and it felt good to be together again.  I haven't been really temping, because of the issues of the past weekend (hard to believe it was a week ago today already).  However, I know my temp went low and now it's higher than it was (went from 95.3 to 97.9).  And, yesterday morning (after we bd'd) I took an opk and it was positive.

Yet, another "deal" that we made was that we were going to put baby-making into God's hands completely.  We're not going to do clomid or any other fertillity medication until mid-next year... after we've finished "Celebrate Recovery" (or at least, six months from now).  If it happens, it'll be awesome, great, a miracle, etc.  If it doesn't... that's fine too.  I'll just continue praying for strength (and for these dang hot flashes to end!).

So... that's pretty much it.  Nothing horribly exciting, and I believe I'm into the 2ww.  I'm interested to see whether or not my cycle will return on it's own after next month (while we're not doing clomid).  Who knows.

Regardless, if and when we do start back, (in march/april) I want to try metformin... with the minimum clomid (50mg).  And, see what that'll do.

Take care and baby dust to us all...

And Anne, I'm glad to be in the 2ww with you ;)  I'm praying hard that your dh was able to do the deed... at least he had a part in it, right?

~Amanda~
