Amanda's Diary Entries

eh... whatever 8.11.07

August 11, 2007

Three years ago today Eddie proposed at Navy Pier.  It was one of the most romantic and scary nights of my life.  It was sweet afterwards how, as soon as we got into the car, Eddie got on his cell and called everyone he knew.  ...I called my mom.  No friends, no other family.  I let everyone see the ring and gauge their own reaction from it.

Someday I hope to have that same experience while telling people we're pregnant.

I'm going to take a break on here.  Partially because for the next few months we're really not going to be doing any ttc.  Eddie has to go to a urologist and find out what's going on with that.  I have to do the hsg, along with other lab work (started that this morning) and wait wait wait for an appt with the RE to discuss a possible IUI.

We have a wedding coming up (I'm standing up) and then our anniversary to look forward to.  Never really thought we'd hit two years childless, but regardless we're just about there.

In addition to that, I'm semi-depressed about the lack of communication on the boards these days.  I write not only to tell my story but for support from other writers.  ...I can't even get a response when I take the time out and write (on people's ttmb and here).  So, I'm discouraged and disappointed.  I came for community and I feel like, at times, I'm just talking to myself.

So... for now, I'm planning on continually reading updates on everyone and keeping you all in my prayers, but I don't have much desire or substance for updating.

Take it easy...
