I am the Ovulation Queen...Yeah!

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I didn't make it on Friday to update you but I have been quite busy lately and just haven't found the time to do anthing that I hav wanted to do.

Anyway, lets get to the point. On Friday CD14 I went for my next Follicle scan and was pleased to be told that my Follicle had grown from 14mm to 21mm in 2 days so that was great. The nurse also said that my Uterus had a perfectly normal lining, so I didn't need to worry about that either. We both agreed that I would probaly O on the Sunday so that's the day I decided to aim for as my O day. I think we had good timing, although we have to be careful as DH's SA wasn't great after 36 hours abstination, and was better after 4 days, so we tried to keep it to every other day.

On Monday, I went for another scan to confirm if I had O'd. I knew that I had sometime the night before, as I had had twinges on my left side (the side the Follicle was on) and on Monday morning it felt like I had done tons of sit ups the night before and starined all my stomach muscles. Well when I got there and the nurse scanned me, she confirmed that the Follicle had gone, although she couldn't see the Corpus Luteum. She said that this is quite normal. She confirmed that my lining was at 15mm, which apparently is good, so hopefully we timed it all right and it will happen at last this month.

So in summary, I O'd at last and got to BD properly for once. I so hope that I am pregnant this month, I am getting fed up with trying and trying and trying! I have decided to try and hold out testing until Saturday the 25th Nov (I think that's right), so lets hope I have the patience.

Love to all, all keep trying and never give up, it's going to happen to us at some point.

Helen xxxx
