My super plan

July 2, 2006

Well I have been having a good think about what I am going to do next, and IO really need to knuckle down with this weight loss thing, befor I even think about what to do next. I figure that loseing weight, will help with everything. It will help the PCOS and Insulin Resistancy , it will decrease my risk of heart desease and Diabetes. It will decrease the chance of complications in pregnancy when I get pregnant. It will help Dr's if they need to cut me open to look inside, and it will help IVF if I get that far, so I have a lot to gain by loseing the weight. Only problem is, loseing it. Many people don't take me seriously, as they don't think I am that much over weight, but I am, weighing in at 185 pounds and only being 5 foot 5 inches tall. Think is, I am quite well toned, and I hide the flab well, so people just think I am being one of those annoying people who say that they are fat when they are not. This means that they wave cakes and chocs under my nose at work and really don't support me how they should. I am also quite lazy, and as I am tired all the time, I can't be bothered to exercise, although I understand that this is very important. I have been reading up on the best sort of diet for someone with my conditions, and basically everything says, Low GI or low Carb diets, so I have substituted white bread for wholemeal and white rice and Pasta for their brown varieties. I plan on cutting the chocolate out in the week, eating more fruit and salad, with Chicken and fish. I am going to try and get at least three sessions a week in the Gym, and do exercise where I can. I have worked it out that I only actually need to lose 2 pounds a week until I see the Specialist again, to be at a good wight to start TTC. Maybe I'll be O'ing by then too which would be the icing on the cake. Anyway, wish me luck ladies and i'll keep you all updated. Good luck and baby dust to you all, lets see some BFP's soon:O) Love to all, Helenxxx
