Helen's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

what a week or two!

June 20, 2006

Hi everyone, sorry it's taken me a time to write my next entry, but I have been having a quite a hard time at the moment. So where shall I start? My poor Rabbit, well my DH and I lost him. He passed away on Monday last week:O( It was quite traumatic for me, as my DH is in Korea at the moment on business and isn't back until this Saturady. I had to deal with the rabbit on my own. His nam was Biscuit and he was a lovely Dwarf Lop. He was only 2 years old, very friendly and gentle and really sweet and funny and times. He developed a condition called Gut stasis, which is when their guts stop working. Sometimes they can be stimulated and made to work again, but it just wasn't meat to be for poor Biscuit. At least he is out of pain now and I tried absolutely everything I could to get him better. We shall always remember him. My poor DH never got to say goodbye, so I shall try and comfort him best I can when he gets home. As for TTC, I am at the point in my cycle at the moment where my body thinks it is O'ing, you never know maybe it, but DH isn't here anyway and the Doc told us we are not allowed to try until I have lost weight. I really don't know what is going on there. With no word of a lie, I have a really upset stomach because of the Metformin and I feel sick all the time, I don't eat as much as normal and yet I am not loseing any weight yet, what is going on? I wish my body would get used to these damn pills, they make me feel so ill, but it's a little price to pay, if I end up with a baby right? I se it as training for morning sickness. Apart form that, there really isn't much to say, my life has been boring lately, maybe i'll write some more later on in the week, until then good luck to you other ladies, Love Helenxx
