10. Make a Contract with Your Husband
It's probably no coincidence that this suggestion came from our female expert. Men and women often think everything will be equal when the baby is born only to find Mom doing it all. Clearly spell out – in writing if necessary – who is going to be responsible for what chores and how baby care will be divided. Most women work many hours outside the home and often are still stuck with the majority of domestic duties as well. Times they are a changin', but a good contract will reinforce what's fair.Want to see more?

I don't understand how you planned so well for your students but then went back to work leaving your baby only 2 and a half months after he was born

This is such helpful information. I will be getting married this August and we are hoping to try and get pregnant as soon as we get married.

Some women have to work in order to provide for their children, save for college, etc., especially if they are the primary breadwinner.
