What Does It Do?
A Reproductive Primer
By Kelly Burgess
Of course, this is just an overview of the important parts and what they do. As Mallak points out, there's a lot more to human reproduction than just knowing what it is and what it does. Not only do humans have sexual mores and values, but it's also important to fully comprehend the process by which we bring forth new life. This is called sex education, and by the time you're an adult, you owe it to yourself, and perhaps to your spouse or children, to be informed. To learn more, either visit a bookstore (online bookstores cut down on that embarrassment factor), type "sex education" into your search engine (and ignore all the porn sites), or visit your gynecologist, local midwife or women's health center.
