Keeping the Love Alive When You're Trying to Conceive

As for our episode at the hotel, after about 20 minutes of rummaging through the hotel and destroying everything in sight, we found the car keys. Seems as if they fell out of his pocket into the trashcan, of all places, when he tossed it on the table in the hotel room. Now in the finest of moods, we hurried off to the doctor's office and lab. Another insemination down. Unfortunately for us, it wasn't the "lucky one."
Several weekends later was our anniversary. He surprised me with a weekend getaway to a nearby hotel. On the way to the hotel he had packed a picnic lunch for us to share on the road made up of cheeses, crackers, fruits and champagne (yeah, I know it wasn't right, but we were careful) in the cooler. We had a wonderful weekend, if you know what I mean! I was blessed, I thought. Maybe not with a baby at the time, but with the best husband in the whole world!
