6 Ways to Help Improve Female Fertility
There is a delicate process that takes place in a woman's body each fertile cycle. Normally, a woman's body is in charge of helping sperm travel to the fallopian tubes by producing nourishing cervical fluid, ripening an egg and releasing it from the ovary and ensuring it travels safely and efficiently down the fallopian tube (where it will meet the sperm for fertilization) and implants into the lining of the uterus. Those are some important tasks! It is easy to see how problems in one of these areas can affect the entire process – causing infertility of some degree.
Luckily, there are steps you can take to increase your chances of conceiving. While some women will need further assistance, many can follow these simple guidelines and know that not only are they raising their odds of becoming pregnant, they are also creating a healthy environment for their baby!
Learn how to chart your fertility signs. If you are having trouble getting pregnant, the very first step you should take is to track your cervical fluid and basal body temperature. You may also want to observe your cervix for changes during your cycle. This will help you understand when your most fertile days are. See the book Taking Charge of Your FertilityWant to see more?
