Fun Conceiving

Adventurous Conceptions!

Under A Full Moon
by Amberflame Moonfyre

Location has been something both my husband, Tim, and I have tried to make use of to our advantage. Since we already have two daughters by his previous marriage, we sometimes have to be creative.

Probably our wildest, least convenient and most outrageous choice was made on May Day eve, as we were celebrating the returning warm temperatures with some friends outside of town.

I had read an old legend that if you make love under the light of the full moon, it is considered an especially fertile time. May Day has the same reputation. So when the two events occurred at the same time this past spring, how could I resist?

So we found ourselves wandering away from the bonfire into the surrounding fields with a blanket. Big mistake! It was still freezing cold here in the mountains and, needless to say, the attempt was not particularly successful! Not to mention the fact that our friends, who luckily were very understanding of our desire to have a baby, and who had been told about the legends, nevertheless just had to tease us about the lengths to which we would go!

Pregnancy Score!
by Tracey Telger

When my husband and I were just married and trying to conceive, we were at a local basketball game at the high school. Well, it was a bit boring there and we were both in the mood. We had been trying to get pregnant for a few months.

Well, guess where we ended up? The football field -- and what a better place but the 50 yard line. I guess you can say we scored on that football field that night because I did conceive. Our son is 6 1/2 now. I think it was the fun of knowing that we might get caught.
